Check your pantry: Pumpkin Tree Organics (PT Organics Limited) is voluntarily recalling 38,000 fruit pouches due to concerns that soft strands of packaging plastic are mixed into the purée.
The recall is specifically for pouches of Pumpkin Tree Peter Rabbit Organics Banana & Strawberry Fruit Puree and comes after the company’s packaging supplier notified them about a packaging defect. A later inspection confirmed the presence of a strand of food-grade plastic attached to the inside of a small number of pouches.
No injuries have been reported to date.
