But this year, the Amazon Prime Day baby deals have stayed impressive throughout the four-day event. I've been happily overwhelmed by the deals on nursery furniture, diaper station MVPs, and  sanity-saving gear — including a few rarely-on-sale items — that make parenting a little easier. And if you're pregnant, you can snag bump-friendly clothes, supportive pillows, and other items to keep you comfortable next trimester (or two).

Because we won’t see savings this good again until Black Friday, now is the perfect time to make a dent in your registry or stock up on essentials.   2. Check out Amazon Resale: You can save even more shopping through Amazon’s pre-owned collection of items. Just remember that some items — like car seats, breast pumps, and cribs — shouldn’t be bought secondhand for health and safety reasons.
  3. Use a price tracking site like CamelCamelCamel: You can look back a day, week, or month, giving you insight into whether or not the current “deal” is actually a bargain.
  4. Check the product’s MSRP: Don’t be tricked by Amazon prime inflation.
  5. Compare prices: Take advantage of alternative Prime Day sales from Target, Walmart, and more to score the best deals.
  6. Create a baby registry, if you’re pregnant: Although you can’t stack your completion discount with Prime Day deals, it can be a deal-weeding guide. If an item is less than 15%, skip the sale and use your completion discount later. On the flip side, if an item is more than 15% off, it’s worth grabbing now.
