Procreate is a very inspiring tool that makes creating digital art easy. all you need is your imagination and time. Here are some examples of paintings I’ve created using that tool.
My friend Rob H. Geyer, is a gifted writer and channel. He and I have been doing a joint project on Instagram. Each of us is passionate about our art and consequently, he developed the four word questions and I created the digital art using (https://procreate.art/). Rob is very inspirational and if you are interested in messages for inspiration, you can find a number of his messages at https://messagesforinspiration.com/. Of course you can also find his work on Amazon. If you are looking for a book to start with, why not try Little Buddha Book One?
Black and White
Interestingly, a black and white series of digital art emerged in the middle a time I had been immersed in colors. Suddenly, all I wanted were the subtle tones of the blacks and whites. The depth of the blacks on the whites is truly fascinating to me and I could spend hours lost within them. I wonder if they evoke anything within you. Please feel free to leave a comment if they do stir something within you.
ArtRage
New digital art began emerging in 2016 thanks to some enabling technology. I discovered ArtRage (https://www.artrage.com/) and after coupling it with a Huion Tablet (http://www.huion-tablet.com/) it changed my world. I went from someone who looks at art thinking, “I could never do that, but I so want to” to a person that does it! How magnificent is that? As Yoda says, “No Try or Not Try – Just Do!” We all have art locked inside of us and I now believe that allowing it to emerge transforms us as human beings and helps us to build new, creative fuel for our life journeys.
Not surprisingly, as I delve into all the possibilities with ArtRage, I’m finding more and more ways to create. One that has struck me is to start with amazing images I’ve made around the world, especially undersea. Using them, I paint a new image while leaving in some essential elements so you know it started with a photo and yet is distinctly a painting.
Moreover, these look amazing when printed on metallic paper. If you are interested in acquiring one – just email me at cheri@cherylawarren.com – put in the subject line – Photo Paintings.
